Pediatric and Neonatal Campaign

To help families in Washington County, OHSU Health Hillsboro Medical Center opened a much-needed OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital pediatric and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to the hospital in Hillsboro. The new unit, which opened in summer 2020, provides a higher level of care for high-risk pregnancies and babies needing a little extra help getting started. Having this unit at Hillsboro Medical Center means these families can stay in their community and their support systems to seek care. This unit is staffed with OHSU world-class specialists in neonatal care. For the first time in the history of the hospital, triplets were born there last summer!
